The American Hosta Society classify H. Tattle Tails as a mini but, having grown it for five years we feel it is better to treat it as a very small hosta. Although its rapid growth rate and cascading habit make it unsuitable for a trough it is ideal for a raised bed, rock garden, border or specimen pot. It responds to restricted root room which makes it a good bonsai accent plant, and is sun tolerant (specimen in main photo is in full sun.).
