This beautiful little hosta was registered with the American Hosta Society as a miniature but Mark Zilis (Hostapedia) gives it as growing 12″ tall with leaves 4″x3″. We have grown it for a number of years and ours have never reached these dimensions. The main photo is of our 4 year-old Green with Envy in an 18cm bulb bowl. In a garden border after three years our specimen is about the same height but has spread with increased root room. We would not hesitate to put it in a trough or bowl with other mini/very small hostas.
